Description for Buick GS 1970

Up for sale is my beloved 1970 Buick GS. I bought the car about ten years ago and hate to see it go but currently I have too many toys. This is by no means a perfect car but is still a blast to drive and turns heads wherever it goes.
Let me start off with the good:
Mechanically this car is great. The engine is freshly rebuilt with less than 1000 miles on it. It is a Chevrolet 350 Small Block with the 400 crankshaft (3.75 inch stroke) bringing the total displacement to 383 ci. It has Hypereutectic flat top pistons with a compression ratio of 10.7:1 (runs well off pump gas). It has a flat tappet camshaft (apprx. .488 lift), Dart 180cc Iron Cylinder Heads, roller rockers, an electric fan, and aluminum radiator making over 400hp. This car can move! The transmission is a TH350 that was recently rebuilt and can handle the engine with ease. The rear end was recently replaced as well with an 8.5 inch eaton posi with c-clip eliminators and 3.42 gears so that it can be driven on the highway. All four tires are new and the rears are M/T drag radials that really make the car hook off the line.
When the engine rebuilt was done, the body was removed from the frame and the frame was sanded, painted and had new body bushings installed. The front end on this car is very tight. It has power steering and you can drive down the road, let go of the wheel and the car will continue straight. The underside of this car is extremely clean as well! The car has been garage kept the entire time I have owned it.
The car is not perfect. As seen in the photos, the two front fenders and right rear quarter are bubbling and showing some rust. However, the rust is just isolated to these quarter panels. The underbody is very clean! The interior could also use some TLC. It could use new seats and a new carpet which would not be hard to find. Again, it is not perfect but would make for a great weekend cruiser or toy to tinker with.
Some history on the car:When I ran the VIN number, I discovered that this is a true GS350. From the factory, it was painted gold with a black vinyl top. I believe it originally came with a 3 speed manual but the owner before me put an automatic in it. This is certainly a nice cruiser!
