Description for Buick GS Stage 1 1972
This is the second and last time I am going to list this as a whole car. As stated, this is an original 1972 Stage 1 with a V in the 5th digit on the vin number and title. GS clones go for about $20,000 but this is a real GS. It is in need complete restoration or a possible donor car. I bought this car 15 years ago with big intentions, it's too big a project for me. Somebody please rescue this car! You could part it out for well over the reserve price of $500, I've seen hoods alone for that price. Which is why I will be parting it out myself if it doesn't sell this time.In the photos where it appears as a whole car, the panels are merely propped up and not bolted on.There is no engine or transmission, all glass is good, seats are there but need restoring.Below is a list of some parts included in this auction and the prices shown on the parts are referenced from those found here on ebay. There are many more including rear bench floor pan, purchased brand new $150 (see photos) Keep in mind this is a total restoration car. Some parts have rust or need patches, some only need straightening and some elbow grease.
*Windshield $100-150*Rear quarter window $40-50*Rear window $100-150*Core support $600-1000*Hood $500-1000*Front bumper $150-300*Doors $100-150*Deck lid $150-300*Tail light assembly $100-150*Fenders $100-150*Quarter extensions $30-40*Inner wheel wells $100-200*Posi rear end $500-1000*Seat cores $100-150 a piece

Here is some more info that people have been asking about:The repair panel is for under the backseats, it needs floor and trunk panels. I guess you could patch some rust spots if you want to do it that way. There is a new quarter panel on the driver's side which has a small dent in it, passenger side was good when i got it, now it has a few rust bubbles, it needs a new lower patch, still very usable. Inner wheel wells need a little work right behind back tires where they usually wear. I believe it was an A/C car but it was already gone when i got it. There is no rear bumper or cross member, the frame is solid it has been inside for the past 12 years. Not sure if there is an extra wire harness in the car or not. The fenders and hood are just placed on the car for pictures. They are not bolted on. The title is clear and signed by original owner, as I state in auction, this is a total restoration project that is not complete. That is why the low starting price. This car would be worth a good penney if done right. Thats why I would suggest new body panels. Those are cheap compared to the dollars required to trick this car out.

That being said, I am adding a new core support that I was going to put in another auction but I bought it to restore this car and that's where it should go. The original is rusted out on one side Also I am including the other three original rims. They need re-chromed but they are the originals, also some misc stuff I found after the auction already started. Unfortunately I was going to keep the original motor for another stage 1 I have, Thanks everyone for bidding and someone bring this classic back,
