Description for Buick LeSabre 1989

Rides like a cloud and stings like a bee! Outstanding interior -- rare to find one this clean at such a reasonable price.
Great car for a FAMILY. Smooth, safe ride. Seats up to 8 people in plush leather interior with 3rd row of seating. You could even stretch out and sleep. Under 118,000 miles.
Great car for a CONTRACTOR. Huge, flat cargo area holds a lot -- even 4'x8' sheets of plywood! Comfortable height for loading the interior or the roof rack. Tailgate opens like a door, or drops down flat, an features a power rear window.
CLASSIC STYLE of a "woody" station wagon with miles of chrome. Cadillac didn't offer a station wagon, so the Estate was GM's high-end entry in the market. V8 power, rear-wheel drive.
INTERIOR is in excellent shape. The seats and carpet don't even show signs of wear. Leather pillow-topped seats are comfy and breathable. "Wood-grain" dash and doors are flawless. Never any smoking in this car. All the gauges work. The only issue is the headliner, which sags throughout. Original AM/FM radio-cassette deck works great.
EXTERIOR does show signs of Ohio winters -- three rust holes, and some bubbles under the "wood" siding. But not a speck of rust on the chrome, and there’s a lot of chrome. Shallow dent in right rear fender where I got too friendly with the garage door. The hood opens and closes fine, but the rear corners got torqued from opening too far. Floors are solid. Tires are all fine with good tread. Spare tire, plus a bonus 6th wheel and tire.
MECHANICALLY the engine, transmission, and rear end are all strong and healthy -- never any trouble. 5.0 liter / 366 cu. in. motor fires up in seconds and runs like a champ! Transmission shifts as it should and works fine. Brakes and emergency brake work well. New battery installed 8/1/17. The AC works some of the time but not always -- needs a new charge of gas. Lights, blinkers, hazards, and horn work fine.
Originally purchased in May 1989. 118,000 miles -- that's less than 350 miles per month of local driving. Full service records and receipts. More photos available.
