I recently discovered this 1959 Buick Electra 2 door Convertible Coupe in a warehouse in New Jersey. I've managed to save it from being scrapped knowing that. someday. nbsp;it could be returned to it's original glory. I've got too many projects in the works now so I'm looking to give it a new home. As the pictures show this car will need a complete restoration but it's all there. The car is equipped with the original Wildcat 445 V8 and Twin Turbine automatic transmission. It's optioned with factory AC and power windows. This car has been indoors for the last 8 years. is NOT running and will have to be trailered. It's being sold on a bill of sale only; unfortunately there is NO paperwork on the car. There were 11. 16 Electra coupes manufactured in 1959 and there aren't many left. This was an all new design for Buick with some radical fins sweeping from the front to the rear. a stunning bubble top roof and beautiful grill made of numerous rectangular squares. The car is being sold as is/ where is. Take a close look at the photos before bidding. It's a project that has lots of potential. I've set a VERY nominal reserve in order to find this classic a new home.
