Up for auction is a 1969 Buick Electra 225 4 door sedan that is in need of restoration or customizing. It runs good. amazingly low miles for the year. has a 430 V-8. power drum brakes all around. Automatic transmission. and only has a couple flaws besides the obvious cosmetic issues that are in the pics and that I will point out. It has power windows and seat. air conditioning. radio. the interior only needs a good cleaning/detailing job to top-notch original. the engine has a new ignition coil. wires. and fuel pump. Issues: The battery is bad. is being included. but does need replaced. as jumping is required to fire the car up. Second issue with starting up is the neutral safety switch is bad. is currently bypassed to let the car start up. but will need fixed. Third. the drum brakes work. but I feel the shoes could use adjusting. Fourth. have a wiring diagram ready. some rodents got into the engine area last winter and chewed up a lot of wires for the headlights. horn. AC. wipers. and washer sprayer. so rewiring will be required. Now cosmetically. the biggest rust spots are the rear fender skirts. with minor surface rust on a couple other spots of the car (See pics). all the chrome is in good condition. the frame and under carriage has minimal rust. and some parts still have the original undercoating on it. the driver rear fender has a dent in it. and a lot of the clear coat is gone on most of the car. The top though. is at the point were it just were it needs replaced. All 4 original Buick hubcaps are included. it is missing the side marker light on the driver's side. and the trim pieces for the passenger side. The suspension is in good shape. and only selling due to not having room or time to restore it myself. and is selling without a reserve. can be viewed in Alliance. contact me to come see it in person.
