Description for Buick GS 1969
This is a real GS Stage-1. Has original vin # matched trans with BB code, that was only used in Stage-1 cars. The GS is verified in the vin #. We have owner history. EXTERIOR: Factory Twilight blue car. Very clean, rust free body that was painted in the 1980s and still looks fantastic. For me and a lot of people a paint job that has lasted this long says a lot. It has proven itself. It was painted with... a clear coat finish and is polished out very smooth and glossy. It's like looking into a mirror. I'm sure there's a few minor flaws if you look hard enough. All the panels fit real nice, there's no signs of rust. Has new 15 inch aluminum wheels and BF Goodrich tires. All the chrome and trim is shiny and straight, fits nice on the car too. Windshield is crystal clear. Vinyl top is excellent. INTERIOR: Beautiful blue bucket seat interior. Upholstery, door panels, headliner, visors are in excellent shape. Dash area is excellent, nothing abused or broken. Dash pad is excellent, vents, bezels are nice. Has a deluxe steering wheel and a factory Am-Fm radio that was rebuilt. There is a tissue dispenser for when you make the passenger cry at a green light. Under the dash is a nicely installed set of gauges and tachometer. It has original blue Buick floormats. Also has original blue GM seat belts. Very respectable, unabused condition. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rebuilt 455 with performance upgrades. Bored 30 over, has new pistons, rings and reconditioned rods. Has Kenne Bell cam, grooved bearings, larger push rods and valves. New aluminum intake and big Holley carb. Has Kenne Bell headers, new electronic ignition. New oil, water and fuel pumps. Air conditioning was serviced and blows ice cold. New radiator. Very clean overall compartment. Has functional ram air system. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is really clean original metal with a nice coat of spatter finish paint. Has complete jack and spare assembly, original rubber mat. UNDERSIDE: It appears to be original and solid. Has F-41 suspension which includes boxed control arms and swaybars. It also was upgraded with 1970 disc brakes in front. Has it's original 3.42 posi in back. The BB turbo 400 trans is original to the car and only used in Stage-1 cars.
