Sequoia Cream Roadmaster Restored & Well Maintained VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: VEHICLE HISTORY: The current owner purchased this 1948 Buick Roadmaster. his “Dream Car” in 1982. It needed a restoration. and by 1989 it was all done and ready to be enjoyed. He has enjoyed his beautiful Roadmaster convertible taking it to car shows (many trophies). driving in parades. chauffeuring newlyweds. and just having fun with it for the last 25 years! He has adorned the car with just about every accessory and option available for a 1948 Buick: Klear View Sun Visor. Back Up Lights. Head Light Visors. “Van Auken” Front/Rear Bumper Guards. It’s larger and longer straight eight engine required five inches more wheelbase and longer front fenders and hood. The exterior appearance of the 1948 Roadmaster was changed only by the addition of series script to the front fenders. Other series identification continued to be found on the bumper guards’ cross bars and within the steering wheel center medallion. The major innovation for Buick in 1948 was the availability of the Dynaflow automatic transmission which was only available as an option on the Roadmaster model.
