For sale by owner. Rare 1987 Buick Lesabre Limited Coupe. 173K original miles. This car runs and drives!! Cassette Player (stopped working just recently)A/C (works. but probably needs recharge)Power Windows (Both work. but if you roll the drivers side down past the halfway mark. it comes off the track. )Power locks. (Passenger side may be intermittent. ) Power driver's seat. (Works. but plastic knob broke off. ) Power Antenna. (Stopped working. so it has been unplugged. )Tilt steering. Automatic Transmission. 3. 8 Liter V6 Engine. Red/ Red Velour Interior. Armored ignition (Anti-theft steel steering wheel collar). 3 owner car. (All non-smokers!)Originally came from Indiana. Timing chain was replaced at 126K miles. Car was then fully restored in 2006 (130K miles). There are a couple of dings: Front end just above the grill (below the hood). Grill was replaced 3 years ago after someone backed into it. Other minor damage includes rear drivers side bumper/corner. There is also a scratch on the hood which suddenly appeared after all the snow melted. Rear passenger side tail light was replaced after the car was hit in a snowstorm. Suspension will probably need some TLC at some point. Splash guards are missing on rear tires. Also has power steering leak. but it seems to be minor. Heater needs TLC as it doesn't get warm on zero-degree days. Interior light is intermittent - if it doesn't come on. just tap it gently. it will come on. Drivers side arm rest is loose since power window had to be fixed multiple times. May need new battery at some point. Also. car takes a couple of seconds to start in the morning. but it starts right up after that… New/ Repaired parts: Front Axle. Power Steering Rack. Radiator. Ignition Module. Starter. Thermostat. Drive Belt. Brakes & Rotors. Main Seal on Transmission was replaced. It also has all new Exhaust System (Long pipe from front to back was just replaced 2 weeks ago. Muffler and tailpipe were replaced last year. ) Small hole in trunk (above rear passenger side tire) was repaired with fiberglass. Has had oil changes every 3 months like clockwork. Interior is in excellent condition with the exception of the side of driver's seat has worn a bit. There is some rust on the driver's side in between the door and rear tire. There is also a tiny bit of rust on the roof just above passenger door. A little rust coming through in a few other spots- above wheel wells and bottom of passenger's side door. Underside of car has some rust. as well. (see photos)Have all maintenance records from the past 20 years. Have all original floor mats and original hubcaps. (Wheel covers shown in the picture are plastic. ) This is an antique car. It is being sold AS IS. All known issues have been disclosed. This vehicle has no existing warranty. It is currently registered in MA and has a May 2015 inspection sticker on it. Great car for restoration project. Very safe and excellent in the snow! Would also make a great movie car!!
