FOR SALE 1973 Buick Century Gran Sport stage 1All numbers matching with 100K original miles EXTRA PARTS (see list below)Description:This is my beautiful Gran Sport stage 1 in a bright red color and it is time for me to let it go to someone who will actually drive her. This car used to beat the 1971 GS in addition to all trans ams and almost all 350 corvettes. It is SUPER fast even though it doesn't look it. This is a VERY RARE CAR and only 1 out of 13 Sun Coupe cars ( with a sun roof ) ever produced. A total of 728 Stage 1 GS's were produced in 1973 and only 13 of them had a sunroof. All autherntic GS cars had WHITE bucket seats and interiors. The car is mostly original except for the exterior paint which was re-done in the late eighties. The car has new shocks. springs. brakes. battery. tires and a recently installed dual exhaust system. It starts right up and runs on great. It accelerates like a drag car when you punch it after it warms up! The TH400 transmission has a shift kit and a 2300 rpm converter which shifts firm and allows the car to launch with very little spin. The 3. 42 posi rear end is highway friendly. *** The car originally was optioned with factory air conditioning but it is NOT in the car anymore unfortunately. This car has a rare and original factory power sunroof. The sunroof does not currently work and it is in a semi open position. All the actual mechanical sun roof parts are there and working including the main sun roof motor. The sun roof motor works perfectly. All the sun roof chains are in excellent shape and lubed. The entire mechanism just has to be re-assembled by an experienced sun roof shop. The interior trim around the sun roof will also have to be re-installed but all the parts there and intact and in very good shape. There are 2 very small dents on the car. 2x2 inch area on the front bumper skirt. The best way to buy a car is to come and see it and pay for it right there.
