Description for Cadillac Eldorado 1966
Well I have 3 1966 Cadillac convertibles and a 1965 Cadillac limo. You might say I am a Cadillac fan. I drive my deville most everyday. I am restoring a 66 Eldo and the limo. I found this car when looking for parts for my restoration. It is way too nice to part out and I have decide to sell it to a fellow cadillac enthusiast to help fund the restoration of the limo and the other Eldo. The car starts and drives and the windows all work. The top goes up and down no problem but the hydroelectric motor is not hooked up. The front seat is original but it looks like the back seat came out of a deville. The front seat is missing 6 way motor and seat mounts. THe motor and Trans are strong and most all the trim is present.
The car looks like it was originally a light green that was painted white then painted black. Some parts of the black paint are great other parts like the rear looks to be a spray can. This car is a solid three on a scale of 1 best - 5 basket case. I expected the car to be rusted underneath but it is SUPER CLEAN!.
The guy I got the car from is suppose to be the third owner. The car show signs of novice restoration. PLEASE contact me with questions. The car is listed locally so I reserve the right to end Auction early.
Walnut trim is all there and the interior is pretty clean. This car has been garaged most of its life. .On Jul-13-15 at 06:21:08 PDT, eller added the following information:
I wanted to be clear and honest. After looking at the pictures this car looks a lot better in the add then it does in person. Trying to be honest here. There are a few flaws I want any potential owner to be aware of. There is a lot of bondo on the rear quaters. The trunk has very little rust but there is some in the trunk pan. There is a small cut in the top it is the shape of an L and about the size of a quater. The rear bumper has a ding in the license plate section from an obvious rear end collision. The collision has been repaired which is why I assume so much bondo is in the rear quaters.
I am currently considering 2 local offers. This car might not make it to the end of the Auction. If you are seriously interested in owning and loving this very rare car please contact me in the next 24 hours.
