1979 Cadillac Seville - Original Saxony Red Exterior with Dark Carmine Leather Interior
Owned by One Family Since New in Prescott, rizona
Driven locally and taken on annual trips to Rocky Point Mexico
Rust free body - has some surface rust on the chassis but that's it
Completely original inside and out
Paint is faded on hood, oof and top so it really needs new paint to bring it back to it's original glorybut is fine right now for a daily driver.
Interior is in amazing conditon - original headliner and sun visors are in great shape!
Interior smells good (like a Cadillac should) - No bad smells, tains or smoke odors
Have large black original GM vinyl 1-piece mat that goes along the entire front carpet along with theoriginal Cadillac Floor mats but they are pretty worn - fortunately the carpet has been protected andis in great shape
Original 8-track stereo works great and the car comes with a shoebox full of classic 8-track tapes foryour listening pleasure
5.7L (350 cu.in.) engine runs very strong - no smoke, o funny noises Very powerful engine
Transmission shifts like it should through the gears and kick down lever works good
Approx. 105k miles on the car, he odometer stopped working at 95,966 and it hasn't been driven muchsince then, 05k is overestimating. The original owner (it was their Grandma's car) passed away andit was only driven around town afew times a month to keep everything lubricated
Not sure if the Air Conditioning works or not since there is no belt on it - rarely use in Prescott since it'sin the cool pines The compressor does spin by hand
Heater works good
All power windows go up and down smoothly
Door locks and headlights are not working right now and I haven't had a chance to find out why, ould bea fuse or relay. I will try and check it out before the listing ends.
The other lights work including the glove box light.
Cruise does not work - I'm assuming it's because of the speedo/odo not working
Car drives good, ccelerates at a good pace and stops fine
Tires have decent tread but are older so I wouldn't recommend driving across the county with them
Windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced
There are fine line cracks in the steering wheel from the Arizona sun so I installed a new classicsteering wheel cover that makes it look nicer and it feels great
The driver's door weatherstrip is baked from the sun and will need to be replaced
I've tried to be as honest and straightforward as possible as it makes me nervous to sell a car onebay when someone could buy it across the country without seeing it. I recommend if at allpossible to come see and drive the car first. If not possible then call me with any questions thatyou may have beforehand. I want to make sure the buyer is completely satisfied with the carand that is why I listed it at a very reasonable price with a very low reserve - once the reserve hitsthe BUY IT NOW goes away though so keep that in mind when bidding :)

This would make a great daily driver and restoration project for a Cadillac Enthusiast, his bodyhas a classic styling to it and will only keep going up in value as time goes on
