1974 Miller Meteor Cadillac Hearse for sale. Over $6500 invested in coach. Asking $3150.00. Coach is a good restoration candidate and will need some work to get her back to her former glory. It starts and drives fine.
There has been too much work completed on the coach by me to list but here is a sample of the work completed to date:
Roof repaired (had holes) and bedliner rolled on. Looks great and no longer leaks!
New muffler (exhaust system has no leaks)
Ignition system changed over from points to HEI
New Ignition wire set
New AC compressor (AC still does not work - refrigerant leak somewhere that I have been unable to locate)
New alternator
New starter
New headliner in front and rear of coach
When I purchased the coach the rear had been removed - I have rebuilt the floor in the rear and replaced the rollers.
New Battery
New Spark Plugs
Timing and idle professionally adjusted/set
Four new tires
New carpetRear bumper ends replacedHood hinges rebuiltWindshield is cracked
Some of the known issues with the car:
Washer pump not working (have new pump but still will not function right)
Rear main seal leak
Needs new transmission gasket (I have a new gasket and transmission pan that needs to be installed)
Car is currently in primer, ill need to be painted.
There is a small leak around the front passenger door that I have not been able to pinpoint yet. I have the carpet out right now and the door panel off while I am searching for it.
The vehicle is old so the material is ragged in places.
The coach is hard to start when cold. Was told that I need to install a manual choke.Hood is seriously misaligned
