Up for auction is our original unrestored 76 Cadillac Seville. This Survivor is in incredible condition for a 38 year old car. It was sold new at Shepherd Cadillac in Palo Alto. California and spent much of its life in Menlo Park. California which is a very dry climate that really preserved this car from corrosion. The original owners kept the car for many years until it was purchased by a Cadillac collector in Denver. It has been in Denver since and has not been offered nationally for sale until now. Original cars are getting difficult to find and are much nicer to drive then restored cars. Seems like original materials and parts work nicer than reproduction parts giving original cars a better overall feel. This Cadillac maintains its original paint and interior. The body is very straight with just a few very small dings (see photo). The paint is all original and has been very well maintained. it still shines like new. All of the stainless trim is beautiful with no blemishes along with all of the chrome plating. Even the plated pot metal and plastic trim parts are perfect with no pitting or peeling. Most impressive. is the intricate front grill and its condition. It is simply beautiful along side of its original headlamps with no stone chips . The original wheel covers are also in near new condition and look great going down the road. The whitewall radial tires are in great shape and offer a smooth and quiet ride. while the original space saver spare is unused and in the trunk along with all of the correct hardware and air tank. The interior is stunning. The leather seats are all original and in perfect condition. The carpet is also immaculate with no stains or wear. The matching Cadillac floor mats are in the trunk and look new. The dash is absolutely perfect. The gauges all work and are crystal clear. All of the chrome and wood grain trim is perfect with no pits. The dash pad is still soft and un cracked. it truly looks new. All of the switches have a crisp feel and work like new. The steering wheel looks like it was just installed at the factory. All of the glass is original and perfect with LOF markings and dates. Under the hood is like the rest of the car. beautiful. All original and unrestored. All of the cadmium and phosphate plated hardware is still bright. The original washer reservoir is perfect and in place. The firewall still looks fresh and has white chalk numbers on it from the assembly line. The original Air Conditioning system is very complete and works on R12. The mechanical side of the engine and drive train is perfect. The engine runs smooth and quiet with NO leaks. The transmission is also smooth and shifts like it did when it was new. As reliable as this car is. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country. If you are looking for a beautiful Cadillac that is in incredible original condition. then this is the car for you!
