Description for Cadillac DeVille 1988
Price dropped $200 for the guy that asked. Wife says it's got to go.This was my baby. Has been in the family since it was new. BEST riding, most comfortable car I have ever owned. A man ran through a Red Light and T-Boned it in the Left Front, breaking the steering parts. The Insurance Company refused to fix it and they totaled it. I have the Estimators list. It is not drivable. It ran and drove beautifully. You can start it and hear it run.I had been having it restored, as it sat for6 yrs . or so and wasn't driven. I have spent about $5000 so far on it. $1800 for the A/C alone. Had NEW A.C. Delco Fuel Pump & Strainer, Fuel Filter, Complete Tune-up( Plugs, Wires, Coil, Air Filter, Cap, Rotor, Oxygen Sensors) Factory Breather Hoses,Headliner, Wiper Blades, Complete A/C System Replaced, Complete Brake Job(Front & Rear with Wagner Thermo Quiet Brakes), New Radiator, Electric Trunk Motor, New A.C. Delco Professional Series Alternator, Vacuum Lines, Heater Control Valve. I always INSISTED that quality parts be used. No auto-zone junk. This is a "southern car and has no rust at all. All the Chrome and Stainless Steel Molding is good(except were it was stuck). It has NO tires on it, as they were stolen while in storage. I brought the car home, as the insurance company did not want to fix it. Thought someone else might want to restore it, or use it for a "parts car". I saw were the "Body Panels" are VERY expensive.Has a transmission fluid leaking, don't know werefluid is leaking from.I really don't know what else to add. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Will have tobe put on a flat bed to haul home or to your shop. Cash only on the balance at time of pickup.
