Description for Cadillac Allante 1990
This Allante is in excellent condition, a real head turner every where it goes and comes with the original owners manual and an extra set of Gold Cadillac keys. After purchasing this low mileage 1990 Allante I accepted a position in New Orleans and I just don't want to rag it out driving back and forth from Memphis, Tn. Since buying the car I have done some work to bring it close to perfect. I replaced the brakes, distributor, soft-top/hard-top pull down motor as well as new struts all the way around. As many of you know, this car is equipped with SSD and the original struts were discontinued. The new ones make it ride like new, but you have to manually turn-off the SSD warning light upon start-up. GM has issued a code to disable this warning, but my local mechanic didn't have access, but it simply means pressing the reset upon start-up and the light goes away. The car comes with both tops, both in excellent condition...this car really is a daily driver and can take you anywhere you want to go in style. If I were keeping the car there are a couple of things I would do to bring it to perfect condition. The sun visors don't stay up, but are in great condition. 3 of the speakers need replaced and the cruise control doesn't always work. Tires still have 75% of tread life, but need balanced for an even more perfect ride.
