1930 Cadillac LaSalle - 1931 Dual Sidemount Sedan Model 345
The vehicle is titled as a 1930 but was produced in September 1930 and is actually a 1931 model.
I purchased this vehicle earlier this year from the estate of a local collector who had owned the car for a number of years. This is such a nice vehicle is was my intent to fully restore it but I have too many projects and need to send a few down the road. The vehicle has been in storage for several of years through a couple of owners. The last registration card in the vehicle was dated 1946 but I am unsure of when the vehicle was last on the road.
This is a very solid vehicle. The original color was black and as you can see it is now in primer.
The engine turns and I just recently found a starter so if it does not sell it will be a winter project to get it started. The seller stated that his father had the car running a few years ago.
It has 6 wide whitewall tires with the tags still on them but I do not know how old they are. It has what looks to be the original interior in good condition for the age. The headliner is tight and looks good. The vinyl top has been removed and the wood is very solid.All wood looks to be in good shape. As you can tell from the photos the side windows are "de-laminated" and checked from the heat.
The car looks to me to be mostly complete but I would recommend that you personally inspect the vehicle to determine condition and completeness for yourself.
The vehicle is not currently running. It is being sold As is Where is and there are no warranties implied or otherwise.
