Offered for purchase is a beautiful 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.

Inside and outside,it looks almost new. The pictures tell the story, but

please read the entire description,because it should answer most

questions.

Be assured the body is straight and totally rust free. The Cotillion White

finish retains itsbeautiful original sheen. All bright work is smooth and

straight and gleams almost a perfect10. The vinyl top is exceptionally

nice--clean and bright and white, without any cracks ortears. And the

whitewall tires have good tread depth with many miles of driving still left in

them.

I think anyone would find the view under the hood of this Fleetwood most

pleasing.Especially avintage car enthusiast with a fondness for the very

desirable 1993 TBI versionof GM's 5.7L 350 V8 engine. It's clean, it's

correct, everything is where it should be.

But nothing quite says Cadillac like the Fleetwood Brougham leather

seating area. Frontand back, theDark Cherry leather is in gorgeous

condition. The same can be said for thecarpeting, the original floor mats,

and the dash pad. And yes, the heater heats and the air blowscold. With

the exception of the inside-the-glovebox remote trunk release, the many

power/electric options work as they should--the seats, the radio, the power

antenna, themirrors, etc.

Thenext owner of this Fleetwood will have a luxury automobile that drives

and handles asnice as it looks. It starts and stops as it should.Under

acceleration,solidshifting announcesitself with analmost

high-performance-quality firm shiftfrom 1stinto 2nd,continuing

effortlessly, silently and smoothlywithout slippage through the gears.It

drivesstraight asan arrow down thehighway.It is readyfora newowner

to just getin and go.

It is immediately evident that, over the years, this Cadillac received a high

level of lovingcare and maintenance.It's "like-new" appearancespeaks

to the fact that it was alwaysgarage-kept and sheltered from any

harmful northern elements. With under 104k originalmiles, average miles

driven per year are under 4400. Even so, I find it remarkable thatafter

24 years there are so few flaws. The imperfections are minor, but you

should beaware of them before bidding.

Most apparent is atiny tear in the leather near the outer edge of the driver's

seat. Withoutany intent to hide it,wejust inadvertentlyfailed tocapture

it in the photowe took of thefront seating area. But if you've looked

closelyat the interiors ofother'93-'96 FleetwoodBroughams, then you've

already seen it, becauseit isinalmost every one of these vehicles

optioned with heated leather seating.I believe it to be associated withthe

heated seattechnology.Our cameradid pick up the fewlittlescratchlines

that are etched into onlyonesmallarea of the back seat.Also, fabric onthe

driver-side B-Pillar is worn throughas theresult of 24 years of butt-rub

from the driver entering andexitingthe front seating area--another

common"wear" issue on thesecarsthateasilyescapes notice, especially

withthe door closed.

There is asmall ding in the leading edge of the passenger-side front fender.

It hides itselfwell. In fact,nobody notices itunless I point it out to them.

It doesn't break paint, and ithonestly shows more pronounced in the

pictures thanitdoes in person. A very fussy criticwould also point out

a barelynoticeable tinyblemish on the driver-side tail light bezel.And

taking fussy even further, I would judge the whitewall on the front

passenger-side tireto be somewhat cosmetically inferior to its three mates.

And asone final item for disclosure, I will report a very non-consequential

drivingexperience with the vehicle. The traction-controland anti-lock

brake systems work inconjunction with each other to stop rear-wheel spin.

They assist in preventing skiddingin slippery conditions. They are useful

options, but are notnecessary for safe driving and stopping under normal

road conditions. On one occasion during stop-and-go driving and

prolongedidling in a construction zone, these system'swarning lights

appeared andremained on until the ignition recycled. They are intended to

signal a problem with ordisengagement of the systems,although I noticed

no change in performance. They havenot appeared since. It's my guess

thatthis event wastriggeredby a glitch in a sensor,perhaps ata rear wheel.

A new owner may or may not encounterthe same situation inthe future.

A cleanCarFax for this vehicle shows no accidents or otherdamage

reported over theyears. It reports 2 previous owners. It showsOwner 2

purchased the vehicle justlastmonth. That wasTHIS seller. ME! I was

recently fortunate to come into possession of thisbeautiful one-owner

vehicle. But without garage space to store it, and with two other fine

vehicles at my disposal, I determined to make it available for someone else

to drive andenjoy. All of this just goes to say that the lucky purchaser of

this elegant FleetwoodBrougham becomes effectively the true second

owner. So let's talk price.

Fleetwoods such as this one, in exceptional original condition, regularly list

on eBaywith Reserve, Buy-It-Now, and Opening Bid prices upwards of

10-thousand dollars.Some of the nicer ones are listed well into the mid

teens. If you missed them, you canstill see them by clicking on

"completed listings". Judging from their glowingdescriptions and pictures,

I can honestly say that this '93 is at least as nice, if notnicer, than most of

those higher priced offerings. My much lower price simply reflects

the fact that I genuinely prefer that this lovely Cadillac find a new home

today, ratherthan next month or next year.

Consider this: It retailed new for upwards of 33-thousand dollars. 24 years

later itstill looks, drives, and rides as close to new as any '93 Fleetwood

you'll find anywhere.And best of all, you can become itsproud new owner
