Description for Cadillac Series 62 1961

Good running numbers matching 390 V8
TH400 transmission installed behind Wilcap adapter and "fuel miser" torque converter. Over $3000 spent on conversion less than 500 miles ago.
High torque starter, very dependable and stronger than the original, starts every time!
Original interior is in good condition with usual 56 year old tears and nicks, new original style black carpet, headliner and dash cover are included in the sale for the new owner to install.
Recent water pump and heater core, nice and toasty on those cool autumn cruises.
Recent electric fuel pump, Offenhauser aluminum valve covers, Mallory Unilite Ignition and Edelbrock carburetor.
All new '64 power brake booster, brake hoses, pads and wheel cylinders, stops on a dime!
Car has AC but compressor was removed and will be included in sale. All piping is still present.
6 way Power seat- motor runs well but cables are disconnected. Believe it may need new gearbox?
All glass and chrome are in good shape. Minor chip (less than a half inch) in the passenger door window. Looks like a stone hit it or something? This was the "base" Caddy with roll up windows all the way around. Everything works though! All glass is original factory tint.
Original T3 headlights all the way around, all lights, electrical functions, wipers, etc work as they should.
Original radio plays intermittently. ReadyRad was added for Ipod, mp3 or external cd player. NEATO
Paint is decent for a driver or "wash and shine". Sale includes a new quart of OEM Fontana Rose enamel for your convenience
Arrow straight body with NO filler or poorly done work, this is a three owner car.
One minor rusted area where the original insulation must have gotten wet and corroded the body, see picture. Otherwise this is RUST FREE!!
True Survivor- Car has less than 60,000 ORIGINAL miles. Odometer stopped working 14 years ago when I purchased the car and I have put less than 2500 miles on it since. I would estimate the original mileage to be around 57000 or so. One look at the chassis, frame, floorboards, pedals and overall condition support this! I never drove this car in salt, snow, ice or bad weather.

This has been a wonderful car in the 14 years I have owned it! It was driven from Chicago to Baltimore and back again several years ago and has seen about 200-500 miles per year since I purchased it. Car is sold as is/where is with no warranty expressed or implied and must be moved within 30 days of close of sale as the property/storage garage has been sold to my neighbor. $500 deposit due at close of auction, balance in cash, certified check, bank transfer or PayPal due within 7 days unless other arrangements are made. This will be the final time I list the car because the last two listings produced buyers that did not pay and I have had to pay for the listing twice. PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PAY or cannot have vehicle shipped within 30 days. Car is for sale locally so seller reserves the right to end the auction early. THANKS FOR LOOKING!!
Please call or email with questions and thank you so much for bidding, happy motoring! Mike 765.661.8217
