The Cadillac Allante' was introduced in 1987 by General Motors. This vehicle was produced to be in direct completion with Mercedes Benz 560SL. The Allante chassis was assembled in Detroit Michigan and then flown to Turin. Italy where Piniafarina produced the body. It was then flown back to Detroit on jumbo jets that GM called the "Allante Airbridge" (see last photo)Because the Allante' had to make two trips just to be assembled. GM only produced 21. 00 of the vehicle with the 1993 model being sought after by automobile enthusiasts and car collectors!This car is in exceptional condition with new tires. good top. leather interior. and all power options! There is a stone chip on the windshield that has been professionally repaired. there is also a cd stuck in the player but the radio works fine! This car actually comes with the original owners manual!The car is in Venice Florida. just a few miles south of its original home of Sarasota!
