Body & Paint: The factory paint color is called "Adriatic Turquoise" (code 34). (We believe it still has a lot of its original paint, but there are a few areas/panels that have been repainted at one time.) This bluish-green paint is holding up very well with no checking or orange peel and looks great with a deep shine. That being said, the vehicle was vandalized a few years ago. (Keyed on the passenger's side. See photos #39-#42 with the scratches.) The body is solid and straight. The passenger's door has a ding. (Photo #43) There are no other dents or dings on the vehicle. It still retains all of its original body panels. There are a few little areas where it looks like some rust is starting. The body panel fit and alignment looks great. Both doors close with ease. The weather stripping is in good condition. We believe this Coupe DeVille was rust proofed when it was new from the plug caps in the door jam areas. The car has its original optional black vinyl top which is in excellent condition. (Code: K) There is no sign of any rust around or under the vinyl top and its trim. A car cover also goes along with the vehicle. Chrome and Trim: All of the chrome and trim pieces are original and in great condition. The bumpers and bumper guards have no dulling, fading, pitting or scratches. All the other exterior trim pieces are present and in good condition. The front grille, headlight bezels, taillight bezels, emblems and all of the stainless steel trim pieces are original and look very good as well. The driver's mirror with remote is nice with only a few small pit marks starting. Very minor.(See photo #37) The vehicle has the Lamp Monitor option. Interior: The "Medium Aqua" cloth interior, (Trim code 328) is all original and in very good condition. It shows very little if any wear. No rips, tears, or holes. The carpet is in good condition along with the original Cadillac rubber floor mats. The dash pad(no cracks), headliner(not sagging or stained), steering wheel(no cracks), door panels, arm rest(no wear) and all the other interior items are in great condition with no problems. The radio was upgrade with an Audiovox system. (The original AM/FM Stereo also comes with the vehicle.) The interior chrome, knobs, handles, and other trim pieces are all beautiful. All of the electrical items are working correctly. The only exceptions are the factory air conditioning isn't blowing cold and the original clock in the dash has stopped. There are no "Service Soon" or "Check Engine" lights illuminated. The original owner's manual is still in the glove box. The vehicle has: Power Windows, Power Locks, Six-Way Power Seat, A/C, Automatic Climate Control, Tilt Steering Wheel, Auto Dimming Headlights, Engine Compartment: The engine compartment is original, but not detailed. This is the original 472 Cu. In. (7.7 Litre) V8 engine that has a 375 horsepower rating. With only 37,282 original miles, this engine runs great with no known problems and that also goes for the original Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. It doesn't smoke or tick. It does leak a little, most of these older cars do. The factory air conditioning (A/C) will need to be recharged. Trunk Compartment: The trunk compartment is clean and original looking. The black carpet mat and spare tire cover are in nice condition. The original jack and jacking tools are present along with the spare tire. The trunk also has a trunk light. Glass: All of the original Soft-Ray tinted glass is in great condition. The windshield doesn't have any major chips, nicks, scratches, or wiper marks. All of the side power windows go up and down without any problems. Wheels & Tires: It has the original steel rims with the original Cadillac hubcaps. All of them are in great condition. No dents, curb scratches, or oxidation. Mounted on these rims are all season Sigma Shadow 235/75R15 radial whitewall tires. All four tires are in great shape with plenty of thread. The car rides smooth with no vibrations and doesn't pull left or right. Undercarriage: The frame and chassis is solid with only surface rust and flaky/peeling under coating. (We believe it was under coated when it was new.) There are some damp areas around the engine/trans. This is pretty typical for vehicles that are not driven often. Seals/gaskets start to seep. It may or may not get better once the vehicle is driven a distance. The exhaust system is in good shape with no known leaks or problems. The car sits up well and doesn't lean or sag. Nine times out of ten, people selling a car would not talk about or take any photos of the underside. The undercarriage tells you a lot about the car, that is why we took a few pictures of the bottom. Reserve Price: Please don't ask what the "Reserve Price" is, or if we have a "Buy it Now" price.
