Description for Cadillac DeVille 1972
Classic 1972 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, yellow with white interior. Back in the day this was an American Luxury car- big, roomy & comfortable! This car was purchased new from a Dealership in the Los Angeles area (Dealer license plate frames still on vehicle). The original owner has since passed away; the car is currently owned by the daughter. Car is complete, with mostly original yellow paint (right passenger side fender replaced at one point with some minor body/primer work). So body is pretty nice. Little or no rust. Car has been sitting under a pine tree for the last 6 years or so, hence it is covered with tree sap and pine needles. Should cleanup nicely. The shade also provided it some protection. The vinyl top is destroyed but dash and interior are pretty clean. White leather seats and headliner have no tears. Carpet is dirty but still has original Cadillac floor mats. A piece of carpet was laid over windshield; no cracks on any of the glass. Engine compartment is clean, considering how long its been sitting. Fluids all looked good and I almost got the car started. It cranks over but maybe carb needs cleaning? I am not a mechanic, but if I almost got it started then a mechanic will know what to do. All 4 tires are flat from sitting so car will need to be towed. There is lots of tread left and wheels still have original hubcaps. Needs a battery. So while the car is currently not running, it should be a somewhat easy fix for someone mechanically inclined. With some cleaning this would make a fun cruiser! Imagine cruising Hollywood or Sunset Blvd's, P.C.H. in this baby! Bring her back to life!Title is clear. I am selling this car for the daughter who has enough on her plate right now. Car is being sold as is with no warranty.
