I have a 1968 cadillac coupe deville was sitting in a barn since 1992 i bought the car from a 80 year old man. I have owned the car for 2 years. The car has no cancer all floors and trunk are nice very clean car. Did not run when i got it so i went thru the brakes all new cylinders, pads, master cylinder so brakes are done. I also went and exchanged all the oils from rearend to motor and transmission and went thru and greased all parts that had zerks in them. Cleaned out gas tank, put new heater core, battery, new starter, complete tune up, rebuilt carburator. Car has original 472 motor the interior is all original no cracks on dash only one rip on driver seat everything else is nice no rips. Everything works from power windows to the electric seats and stock radio works.. i installed a aftermarket stereo very clean. Car has all new door rubber and trunk rubber new vinyl top which was professionally installed after the surface rust was treated and painted before new top was installed.. front fenders was damaged dented when i got the car so where you see the primer is where the dents were i took off fenders and repaired them.
The car has 142,000 miles on it i drive it on the weekends so yes it runs and drives.. the car was repainted in the 1980's the green is original color. The motor still has a point distribitor so i have a brand new hei distribitor that goes with the car. The tires are also new old stock real white walls. And the windows are tinted i was gonna paint the car black and bag it but have too many projects so got to sell her..
