Description for Cadillac DeVille 1957
57 Coupe De Villehere's your opportunity to owntotal time capsule blast from the past, never molested totally bone stock 1 owner original car. Bought new in Los Angeles California, car is extremely dry, original paint, original interior (the brownish yellowed thing on the seats is the original clear plastic factory optional seat protectors), original drive train with only 71,555 miles, body is pretty nice, couple of dings and scuffs on the original Lacquer that would polish if I didn't want to keep the oxidized satin look and patina it has, but for an original car, other than needing a couple pieces of trim, its almost impossible to find in the condition... You dont recreate this look like you see people trying to make now. Brakes redone from front to back in and out and have receipts (including new drums). Just had a tune up, radiator redone, thermostat replaced, the windshield wiper switch needs to be fixed, heater works, but I think the heater core needs to be replaced. Original 365 engine and turbo glide trans, runs and drives good. Been in Iglewood, California all its life and nothing except the air cleaner and red paint on the valve covers, has been modified (and I have the original air cleaner) Car has patina you can not recreate... its never been painted or customized (has few small areas that had lacquer check you might notice have a slightly brighter white, the old man had taken spay paint to touch up and prevent rust). Rides like you're on a cloud and goes on down the road with ease. They don't come around like this often, its a driver and with a couple little things I wouldn't be afraid to drive it cross country.Seen a lot of cars and they are hard to come by in this shape... like a blast from back to the future.Other than that, if you are looking for an original car that's survived and is in solid 99% rust free condition... look no further.
