Thank you for taking the time to view my listing. I'm downsizing and selling off the last of my collection. I'm offering my 1993 Allante for sale. The 1993 Allante is considered by many collectors to be the pinnacle of this classic motorcars seven year production run. Primarily due to the arrival of the new NORTHSTAR 4.6L DOHC 295 HP all aluminum engine. I purchase this Allante from Autry Morlan Chevrolet Cadillac in April of 2012. They're the original dealer that ordered and sold the car to the first owner. The odometer showed 22,801 miles at the time I purchased the car. This Allante was ordered with just about every option that was available at the time. It had a window sticker of $64,920.00 and that was before adding the dealer installed factory chrome cast aluminum wheels a $1,195.00 option and dealer installed cell phone.
The Cadillac Allante is a true hybrid, blending the best of General Motors engineering with the best of Italian design. All Allante bodies were designed and manufactured by the design house and coach builder Pininfarina of Turin Italy. Once completed the bodies departed Turin International Airport and traveled 4,600 mile to arrive at Detroit's Coleman A. Young International Airport. This was accomplished by shipping the bodies 56 at a time on specially equipped Boeing 747 cargo jets. After leaving the airport the bodies traveled about three miles to the new Cadillac Hamtramck Assembly Plant. It was at the Hamtramck plant that the bodies were fitted with their engines, transmissions, suspension, Bose sound system, and other GM installed components. This unusual mode of transport become known as the Allante Air Bridge. Making the Cadillac Allante the only mass produced automobile to have all of their bodies air freighted to the final assembly plant.
This is beyond any doubt one of the finest Grand Touring cars that I have ever owned. It's comfortable, luxurious, and with the NORTHSTAR 4.6L DOHC 32 valve V8 rated 295 HP and 290 torque. It's an incredibly pleasant and refined drivers car. Only the 1993 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 with 300 HP or the ZL-1 LT5 with 405 HP exceeded the power of the Allante. From any American auto manufacture in 1993. Some might disagree but in my humble opinion a true Grand Touring car needs performance, luxury, comfort, and easy access to a good size trunk. The 1993 Cadillac Allante provide's that and more. This Allante has been collector owned, meticulously maintained, and serviced. It has been stored in a building with a custom car cover since April 2012. It is a true original survivor car that has traveled less then 24,000 miles in 26 years. It has been serviced using only Mobil One synthetic oil, K&N oil filters and BG MOA with most oil changes. A file full of receipts going back to the original owner will be included as well as the original owners manual with the Cadillac pen, gold keys, Allante CD, factory service manual, and a hardtop cart. I'm happy to show the car or be available for inspections.
Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist the buyer with storage and coordinating with the transport of the buyer choice. This is a very rare, solid and reliable Allante and statements made in this listing are true to the best of my knowledge. But as with any antique, collector, or used vehicle, it is being sold as is where is with no warranty either written expressed or implied. Please have your financing or funds available before you place your bid. Payment must be cash in person or via wire transfer before the car or title will be released to the buyer. Please email me any questions you have about the Allante. Thank you for your time.
