Description for Cadillac Fleetwood 1949
Free eBay listing template designed by dewiso.com 1949 Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood Imperial Limo - All Original - Only 69K Original Miles - RARE!Here is an extremely rare find of a 1949 Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood, 7-Passenger Imperial Limo in amazing all original condition inside and out. This very well-preserved classic only has 69K original miles on it. This is a true imperial, divider window limo which is extremely rare being one of only 525 produced. It is the top-of-the-line, best model you could buy in 1949 from Cadillac. The truly amazing part is that this car is nearly, completely all original from the paint to the interior. You just do not find cars like this anymore!
We acquired this car out of a very high-end estate in Southern California. The owner passed and everything was sold. He preserved the car extremely well and all we had to do to it was change the fluids and put a new battery in it. The car runs and drives amazingly as a truly untouched original car should. As far as we can tell it's been a Southwestern car its entire life. The Shell oil change sticker in the door jam is from Ojal, CA in 1977 with 64,664 miles plus the car has its original California black plates on it. The second Mobil oil change sticker fell off the jam during cleaning but shows it's from Toppenish, WA in 1965 with 57,425 miles. Since the owner passed away I do not know its exact history. This is most likely one of the most well-preserved, survivor 1949 Cadillac Imperial limos in existence. It's ready to be shown and judged in the original class at any show.
Here is a short YouTube video going over the entire car!

Condition/Issues:
- The car retains 95% original paint. It shows very nicely for its age but does have some patina on the finish. Which gives the car character and truly fits a survivor very well. It's all shown in photos and video.
- The body and underside appear solid and rust free
- The interior appears to be completely original right down to the carpet and is overall in amazing condition for its age. It does have some wear on the driver's back seat cushion, shown in photos and video. The material can be purchased by SMS but since it's original we choose to leave it with the original patina.
- The original steering wheel is mint. The dash, gauge cluster, and all the interior chrome show beautifully.
- Inside the trunk is completely original and looks amazing. The spare tire and the tools are all there and complete.
- Under the hood is all stock and original. It appears to be mostly untouched
- All the glass is original in the car and overall is excellent with the exception of some slight delamination of one of the side glasses. Also a couple of small chips in the windshield.
- All the chrome and trim are in nice original condition. The rear bumper has a small ding and one of the front bumper guards has more patina than the other. There is a small crease in the running board trim.
- Original rubber on the running boards and original weatherstripping.
- Runs and drives as smoothly as a new Cadillac.
- The items that appear to not work are the wipers, horn, and radio.
- The power windows all work but the passenger side two windows are stuck and will not go down (but the window motors have power and do work)
- Just an awesome survivor.
- Comes with a complete new wiring harness (The car does not need it, it came with the car when we got it)
- It needs absolutely nothing to drive and enjoy today!
