Description for Plymouth GTX 1967
What I have to offer all you Mopar guys is this 1967 gtx 440 auto. I am not a mopar guy but I will tell you the story as I know it. This car is showing 31151 mile which is suppose to be actual. I have a copy of a 1993 title that shows having 27110 miles. That was when the guy that owned the car until 2014 bought the car. The last time the car was licensed was 2000. The car was very nice but he let it sit outside in the driveway and never drove it. So many people would stop and try to buy the car but he would never sell it. I think he just liked the attention and it gave him a chance to tell people about it. He passed away and his wife moved the car. My friends wife worked with her and he was able to talk her out of the car. He took the car home replaced the fuel tank. fuel pump. water pump. oses. cleaned radiator. ebuilt carb. eplaced master cyl. and 4 new goodyear radials. This is the only year gtx I liked so I talked him out of the car with the intention redoing the complete car. As I said I am not a mopar guy. Im more of a VW and sportscar guy so when I bought the 1959 beetle I had been chasing for 20 years I knew one of them would have to go so that is why you now see the GTX up for sale. I know finding this car will make a mopar guy very happy because there just are not alot of all original (as near as I know) low milage. solid. omplete. affordable. st year GTXs out there. I believe the only mods done to this car was the tach and gauges. The engine sounds great and the car runs and drives. With that said there is a noise in thr rear. I dont know if it is a rearend bearing. a wheel bearing or a brake noise because I have only driven the car a block or two. It is a shame the car sat outside because being exposed has taken its toll on everything. The lower rear quarters have been repaired at one time and it looks like it might have had an accident on the front left. It looks like they changed the inner and outer fender and there was a dent in the upper cowl that they bondoed up and the putty has broken out of. The underside and the trunk of the car is very solid just a couple small holes. There is a rust hole in the support on the bottom side of the hood. The paint looks ok in some of the pics but it is not. Chrome is usable but not show car chrome by any stretch. interior is all there but the carpet is garbage. The car needs work but it is complete. I dont know of a single thing that is missing. Dont miss the chance to own a running driving affordable complete GTX. Please ask questions if you have them. if there is a pic of something you want please ask and I will try to get it for you. I reserve the right to end auction early The car is being sold "as is" with no warranty implied. so please ask questions and bid only if you want to own this carOn Mar-24-15 at 14:39:41 PDT. seller added the following information: Look guys. please don't contact me. deal on the car for hours. make an offer. I accept the offer then you stop communicating or change your mind. I don't know if you are just bored or what but I don't have time to play games. 4 times this has happened in 24hrs. im more than happy to discuss the car or whatever you want to talk about but if you are making an offer please honor it. thank youOn Mar-24-15 at 20:07:27 PDT. seller added the following information:e
