This auction is for a 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. It is a factory ebony black Coupe Deville with the silver/white/black interior. all power options. and factory A/C - no better combo than that. This 59 Cadillac has never been wrecked. it is original paint and has never been taken apart. The hood doors and trunk all shut perfectly and the panel gaps are right on. There is solid everywhere except for the lower fenders. rockers. quarter panels and trunk/floor pans. all that sheet metal is fixable. The hood. bottoms of the doors and trunk are nice and solid as is the frame of the car. All the original EZ eye tinted glass on the car is good and the windshield has a deep blue upper tint band and is very nice. no wiper scars! The front and rear bumpers are in good condition. there is some surface rust but no holes. The stainless on the car is all very nice except for the trunk edge and the right fin. they both have fixable dents. The car is complete except for one fender skirt. spare tire and two side mouldings for the passenger door and quarter. The interior is in decent condition. there are some tears here and there and it needs a new headliner but very usable for a driver quality car if you wanted. This Cadillac's engine turns over and I have gotten it to fire by filling the carb bowls. I have not had any time to get farther than that. With a battery in the car all the electrical items work. power windows. power seat. heater blower. lights. etc. It was driven in a storage building 15 years ago. I was just going to go through the brakes and fuel system and drive it as is for a while but I have too many projects and I have to let this one go. These cars are getting very hard to find in original. untouched condition like this. most I see are restored or customs and big money.
