Description for Chevrolet Other 19360000
1936 Chevrolet Standard Coupe. This car was meticulously restored by Peter Penfield out of Connecticut in July of 2001. He began with a Solid Rust Free Car that was stored for years. The car had solid floors with ZERO Rust, nd Zero Patches. Body was brought down to bare metal, nd etching primer was used. He installed a brand new 1934 "216" engine, hich was completely rebuilt (rods, istons, alves, am, nd timing chain) by Babbit Motors. It has the original completely rebuilt transmission ( completed 6/15), nd the original rear end which was inspected recently when transmission was completed. This exceptional coupe has all new Brakes, hocks, ront End Bushings, nd all new seals were installed in the steering box. This Coupe's restoration took over 500 hours. The car was block sanded 14 times and is Perfectly Straight, nd has all new glass. Color is general motors black KK99 base coat and clear coated - PPG. Brand new Coker tires, ll new steel and weatherstripping. All foil covering insulation, ew wiring harness, ith brand new hampton coach interior that is pristine. The restoration was well over $100,000 in labor and mechanical parts. This is a spectacular car and pleasure to drive. It is currently registered in Connecticut and available for sale locally.
