FOR SALE; A 1970 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. This is an original Donnybrooke green/ green interior car that was optioned with A/C, ower steering/ brakes, 50/300 engine and T- 400 automatic transmission. It should be obvious that a while back someone was compelled to change the body to the 1975 -77 style front/rear (!) The overall condition of the car is NEEDING RESTORATION - TOTAL PROJECT but it DOES HAVE Potential. The engine is currently a later 350 (non-numbers) motor but i believe the trans is correct. The engine runs well with no noise/smoke but does have a fuel pump/tank issue and can run off of a can. The car is for the most part complete and has the following as GOOD points;
Original CLEAN frame with the CORRECT VIN on the LH rear rail. (southern car / no scale) whats THAT worth?....
Good/sound 350 engine w/the A/C intact (don't expect to blow cold).
Upgraded brakes w/stainless Vette brakes calipers.
Good birdcage, ncluding lower channel body mounts and around (nice) windshield / cowl / fiberglass floor pans etc.
Current registration in the state of GA.
Cool set of CRAGAR vintage MACH 8 wheels if that's your thing.
Some nice interior parts including; DELUXE mid-america door panels in black, ecent dash pad, eather seats with serviceable covers/nice tracks, lean, nbroken center gauge panel, ew replacement center console/parking brake console, orrect steering wheel, o-so speedo/tach housing and glove box side dash.
At the VERY LEAST a GOOD PARTS CAR. ***It would part out for a bunch more but really too buildable to destroy. **This vehicle is sold with a transferrable GA registration that is applicable to MOST STATES. GA vehicles PRE 1985 do not require a title. Please check with YOURS before you bid !
