Description for Chevrolet Other 1963
**Lower Reserve Price!**Mild custom '63 Chevy Bel Air wagon.Car has been fully restored from a nice original condition car.
Full disclosure: this car is a very nice driver not an immaculate show queen so it does have some small minor imperfections that I'll go over. But first the good.
There are way too many items to list everything individually on the car so I'll cover the major stuff.
Fresh 325hp 350ci small block with vintage Offenhauser intake manifold and pretty rare finned Mickey Thompson valve covers, arb is a Edelbrock performer 600cfm electric choke starts and runs beautifully. Ignition is also electronic.
Transmission is a powerglide that shifts smoothly and cruises well.
Exhaust is dueled off with Smithy's glass packs and rams horn exhaust manifolds, ounds great without being overly loud.
Suspension has all new poly bushings and heavy duty ball joints and tie rod ends. Rear control arms were also boxed for strength.
Brakes are also fresh with power disks up front and drums in the rear, tops very well.
Wheels are Astro Supremes with bullet center caps and thin white wall radials for the period look.
Body and paint finish is very nice, he opal green and pearl white attracts alot of attention. Car has been freshly detailed and waxed.
Weather stripping and rubbers are all new.
Interior is all custom green with white inserts to match the paint, here are matching green mexican blankets to cover and protect the seats as well.
So on to the not so good.
There have been a few small bubbles develop in the paint which you can see in the pictures. Any competent shop can easily take care of these. I just recently noticed them and decided because of the size didn't require immediate attention.
I don't have any of the side and center tailgate trim, his is obviously the same as any '63 four door Impala or Bel Air as well, ut I haven't found any worthy sets locally. There are vendors that have this available in Hemmings. I am including a set of NOS corner trim pieces for the quarter panels.
The exhaust tip issue you can see in the pictures as well.
All in all a nice solid unique driver that gets alot of attention.
