1954 Chevrolet 3100 short box, alf ton pickup truck. 235 six cylinder, speed on the floor (was on the column originally). Complete truck. Needs a full restore or build as a rat rod driver.Witha batterythe engine starts and runs fine off of a small gas tank (pictured) and hasgreat oil pressure on the gauge (see video below).It does not smoke or knock but the water pump drips.Will need the gas tank cleaned out.Drives and steersgood but there are no brakes. Includes an oldside mount spare.Good dash and gauges. Fairly straight cab. Good windshield and side windows. Vent windows are cracked, ack is fogging on the edges. All of the tires hold air and the back ones are like new. Front tires have some weathering. Original heater is intact. Needs cab corners and floor work on each front side along with lower cowl areas. Also needs work in the lower door hinge areas but all of these parts are available aftermarket. Floors were patched previously with tin. Inner door bottoms have rust through. The original bedwood andmetal strips are still there. Box and fenders are fairly straight and solid. The box sides are nice. Has an alternator and 12 volt conversion added at some time in the past. Open drive, 2 bolt rear axle which seems to be mounted an inch or two further forward than it should be. Brakes need work. Frame has some rust through in the back but easily fixed if you can weld or would make a great candidate for an S10 frame swap. Includes clear, atching 1954 title registered in 2015.See pictures and ask questions before bidding. Thank you.
