Partof the GM A-Body platform. the Chevelle was on the Chevrolet’s most successfulnameplates. Body styles include coupes. sedans. convertibles and stationwagons. TheChevelle was intended to compete with the Ford Fairlane.  The 1968 Chevellegot an all-new distinctly sculpted body with tapered front fenders and arounded beltline.
