I bought this car several years ago on eBay. I had the transmission rebuilt, eplaced the alternator and put some new tires on it and drove it around Tulsa for a few years. It was never my daily driver, ut made for a fun toy when the weather was nice. About a year ago i loaned it to my ex's brother. He drove it for a short while, nd parked it when the passenge's front side brakecylindersprung a leak. It's been sitting where he parked it since December. The tires have gone flat and he lost the keys, nd title to it.However i will provide a notarized bill of sale which issufficienttotransfertitle in Oklahoma. I gotta dosomethingwith it, o i'msellingit and donating the proceeds to Electronic Synergy Foundation.
When i first bought the car my intention was to fix it up to look like the Impala seen on the TV Show Supernatural, just never got around to it. The horrendous paint job was courtesy of thepreviousowner, think he had dreams of a 4-Door SS.
The Good:The engine is the factory 327 V8, oupled with it's 2 Speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Both are in strong shape.With a little tinkering (replace ignition module, ir up tires, ump start it, efill brake cylinder) you could conceivably drive it home. However i would suggest having a tow truck follow you just in case.
The Bad:With the exception of the power train, nd glass, ust about every part of this car needs work.The interior is rough, he exterior has rust. Missing it's keys.
