Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1970
Here is a 1970 Corvette with a Matching Numbers 350/300HP engine with Double Hump Heads, ldebrock Intake and Eldebrock Carb. I ran the numbers on the block of this 350 and they match the last numbers of the vin so it is Matching Numbers. This Vette is a factory 4 speed car that shifts out good. It has fresh Black paint that has a good shine to it. Not perfect paint but good. The original paint code is 986 on the data plate which was Cortez Silver but was repainted black before we got it. The interior is nice with New seat covers just put on. The carpet looks good as does the door panels. It is equipped with power steering and power disc brakes along with A/C that works. All the gauges seem to be working. It just had new brakes and new calipers put on. The headlights go up and down as they should cause a new activator was installed. This Vette has the removable top and the pop out back window. Both door glass rolls up and down. They are not power. The chrome bumpers are not new but look good. It hits the road good. In 1970 there were a lower total production of Corvettes produced because of a GM Labor Dispute that started in late May 1969 and continued 4 months into 1970 making the 1970 Models a little more rare to find as only 17,316 were produced with less than 11,000 being coupes and 6600 being convertibles. This is a really nice Corvette. I do not know the exact mileage on this car. I put down what the odometer has showing. I would guess it has turned over but not sure either way. The engine I am sure has been rebuilt at some point. It does not smoke or make any weird or unwanted noises. It runs and drives really nice. The tires are good. All lights work as they should even the back up lights. This Corvette needs nothing but to be driven and enjoyed!! I have alot more pics if anyone is interested in seeing more. This Corvette is also For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspections are always welcomed and encouraged so you will know exactly what you are bidding on but must be done BEFORE END OF AUCTION!! If you bid and meet reserve and are high bidder at end of auction then you have bought it. Please understand this!! This Corvette is being sold with a current Georgia registration which is all Georgia requires on a vehicle this old. You will be able to get a title in your state with the paperwork I give you so don't worry about this. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking
