Description for Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 1987

Up for sale is one ofmy son's 1987 Chevy V10 (K10) 4WD shortbed stepside pickups. He has a couple of these and needs to sell one to finish his big plans of an LS swap in the one he is keeping.

This truck has a clean, traight frame and the body is actually pretty good. Someone before us "repaired" the rocker panels and then painted the exterior. The engine was missing when we got the truck, o we installed a carbureted 305 that runs very well. The truck has the original 700R4 automatic with overdrive transmission and it seems to work well. The carburetor is rebuilt, here are a bunch of new steering linkage parts andalso some new brake parts installed. The truck runs and drives pretty well with the exception being the tires. Not only are they nearly worn out, ne seems to have a slipped belt. The power windows and locks work, ut someone before us took off the ac compressor and lines. I suppose you could get it back working again, f you wanted to. The body looks to be rust free and there is a new treated wood floor in the bed.The 4X4 works well.

All in all it will make somebody a good driver, ut as with most things old, t will probably need tinkering as well. I believe if you had new tires it would go about anywhere. The paint looks really good, ut it is not perfect. The interior is about the same. There are a couple cracks in the dash pad, he drivers door panel needs to be dyed and the seat coverand carpet could use a good cleaning.

Ebay canceled my first run of this ad because "they say" the title shows as "salvage" back in 1994 in SC. I have a clean and clear TN title on the vehicle in my hand right now and that is how I got it, o if something happened to the truck over 20 years ago, t is not evident now and I don't think anyone really cares anyway, ut there it isin case you noticed the relisting and the change of title description.
