Up for sale and your consideration is a really nice and very rare 1964 Chevrolet 1/2 ton C-10 2-Door Suburban that was restored and upgraded very nicely a few years ago and still retains good curb appeal and is a turn key vehicle that can be enjoyed immediately on the day of purchase. Please take the time to look over all 24 photos that I have listed here. I have many more photos availble. Just call and ask for them. I also welcome and encourage the opportunity to show this Suburban in person by appointment to any prospective buyer to answer any questions that they may have. BODY:Body is metallic blue with a white top. There are a couple of bubbles on the left rear cargo door and the lower body just ahead of the left rear wheel. Chip guard was applied to the lower extremities. Glass is all perfect and has tinting on all side and rear glass. Windshield is tinted. Front bumper was replaced. and rear bumper is decent original. Roof rack and surf board were added for the 60's surf look. Bonneville style moons were added to extend the 60's look. INTERIOR:Interior was all redone with new seat upholstery. repainting of dash. roof and side panels and new carpeting. A tilt steering column was also added along with a new stereo. An aftermarket tachometer and amp gauge were added. Lights. signals and gauges all work. Vintage Air Conditioning and heat provide comfort at any outside temperature. Air conditioning is ice cold. Wipers and horn work fine. DRIVELINE:This Suburban is equipped with a real deal 4-Bolt Main 400 Small block truck engine that was bored . 030 over and all rebuilt. This truck is FAST !! Engine casting # is 3951511. Transmission is a 700R 4-Speed overdrive unit which shifts and operated 100%. Rearend is a stock ratio 4:11 Non-Posi. Truck runs and drives great. Power steering and Power disc brakes add ease to the operation. A new 4-core aluminum radiator was also installed. Alternator is new. Front wheels are 7" with like new 235/75-15 tires. Rear wheels are 8" with 285/70R15 tires. Exhaust flows through headers and a complete 2-1/2" Flowmaster exhaust system with proper bends and exit locations. Front suspension is stock with greasable A-Frame bushings. This Suburban is equipped with a Class 3 Hitch and trailer brake controller. as it was built partly to tow a nostalgic drag car. Rear suspension was beefed up to handle the tongue weight. SUMMARY:This truck is not a 100 point show car. but it was professionally assembled and hasn't seen many miles since restoration. odometer shows 81593 and is reflected on the title. Exact mileage since restoration is unknown. It needs nothing to be enjoyed as a surf wagon and can be put to work immediately as a tow vehicle. Since it is a truck there are advertising tax advantages. Talk to your accountant. Since this truck was purchased already built. my summary is based on a complete and thorough physical inspection. servicing. detailing it. driving it. and conversation with the previous owner. It is legally insured. inspected registered and can be driven home upon purchase. It is priced sensibly so even a working class car person can afford it. I have accurately and honestly described this Suburban to the best of my knowledge and ability.
