1985 Corvette C4 Maroon Looks and Runs Well

Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1985

I bought this car 11yrs ago for my 50th Birthday. The trans had to be taken out and rebuilt because the previous owner put the wrong shift pin in it. I had the A/C unit fixed and upgraded to accept R12. A couple of yrs later I had the engine replaced because someone had replaced the original 350 motor with a 305 (it was a dog). The paint is about 9 or 10 yrs old but as you can see from being kept in the garage the paint has been well preserved. The odometer reads 185k but the actual milage is around 13k. I'm sorry I can't find the paperwork that showed the odometer reading when the motor was replaced. Over the last 11yrs I didn't drive it much and the last 2yrs I non-oped it because I got sick (cancer). I had it smogged this yr and the tags are current.So far I've invested about 14k and the only thing left to do is the cabin. This doesn't have to be done right away, ou can enjoy this car as is. I listed it as a convertible because the glass top is removable. I'm not the original owner I believe I'm the 4th or 5th. Buyer will pay for any shipping and I prefer Paypal for the transaction.
