Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1987

This is a very original 87 Iroc. It's fully loaded and in it's day it was really something. It has all the usual options like power windows, ocks, seat, irrors, nd hatch. It's unusual because it has T-tops and a 5.7 l chevy tunedport injected small block with 4 wheel disc brakes, verhead console and leather seats. The 350 cars only came with automatics but this carfeatures the more desirable 3.27 gearedrear end.

To fix this car it will need a driverside floorpan and some work on each rear fender lip. The spare tire hole has some rust in it too. Rust is starting on the underside of the hatch but isn't through yet .If the buyer picks the car up I can include a rust free hatch if you want it. I also have the sheet metal to fix the car. It's all factory panels and it will be included if the buy it now price is hit.

As far as the motor and trans. I know it runs but it sat for a long time and unless I tune it up with new plugs wires and cap I really don't know how well. I have never taken it down the road.Expect the motor to need a rebuild but it only has 93,000 miles on it. I don't know about the trans but it goes forward and back. I drove it on the trailer. The brakes are bad. I think the hoses have hardened.

The interior is old the drivers seat has a rip in the seat cushion but the rest is ok but old. Like must third gen Camaros the dash pad is cracked. The carpet is faded. all the plastic is there and in decent shape.

I had and sold many of these cars, s this one worth doing ? Yes. If I didn't have a 69 ss occupying my time I would do it.The descriptionof the car is best I can tell. I suggest if you want the car you should come see it before you bid.
