Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957
This was my High School Car. I'm too far along in years with health issuesto finish it. The car runs and drives. It is the car old men take their old ladies to the super market in. I have 12 grand in the car. The time has come for me to sell it. The engine and tranny are from a 1977 Caprice Classic V-8 305, speed Turbo Auto. Trans. Starting at the front end there is a New radiator and battery, ater pump, brl carb, OS master cylinder, lugs, tarter, iring, lectric fuel pump. NOS roller bearings & wheel cylinders, ew steel brake lines throughout, OS brake shoes. New Danchuck turn indicator bar and Hood Rockets, ake Pipes are new and functional glass packs, ew 15" American Torque Trust Mags and new tires, ew Danchuck gasoline tank. Car has been rewired with new EZ Wiring Kit. Rebuilt and balanced drive shaft with new joints. New head lamps and new LED High Visual tail lights. Floor mounted gear shift (I don't remember the brand). Front seats are leather from Chrysler Cordoba. Rear seats have been rebuilt and recovered in gray naugahyde. Carpets are new from Danchuck. There is a new green headliner still in the box in the trunk. All the chrome was stolen from the car and has been replaced with used pieces using new grips from Danchuck. The windshield is new glass as aretwo side windows. New weather stripping throughout. The car was painted locally by a reputable company and is featured on the gallery in their business. It is Metallic Tropical Turquoise with Metallic Cranberry flames. I paid $4,500 for the paint job and it really pops in the sun. The door panels need to be replaced. None of the gages inside work as well as the speedometer. As I said, t needs to be finished.Bring your pickup and I'll throw in a 2 ton engine hoist and a 1,500 lb. engine stand, ratis.
