Description for Chevrolet C-10 1974

Nice little c-10. Needs nothing to drive. Mostly original and in great shape. Runs like a champ. Very smooth ride. Original Spanish gold paint. Never in an accident. Manual 4-speed transmission with low 1st gear. Power disk brakes. 12 bolt rear with low gearing. Manual steering. Very strong puller. Original 250 cubic inch inline six. 75%+ tread left on tires.
It does have a bit of front fender and cab corner rust. Also the blinkers don't work.

The vehicle has no rust other than what is mentioned. The floors, oors, ocker panels, ear fenders, ed, tc. are all solid. There is no rust around any of the windows.
The original wood bed floor is still in the truck, ut much of it is rotted. There is a piece of plywood screwed on top of the original to make the bed functional.
I don't know why the blinkers aren't working. They did when I bought the truck. I've been told it is the wiring harness inside the steering column. All other parts of the electrical system are functional. The headlights, ail lights, rake lights, unning lights, indshield wipers, tc. all work fine. The horn button that is missing in the pictures is included, ust not installed.
All glass is good. No cracks or chips.

I havereceiveda lot of questions about reliability of this truck. I will try to explain everything I know. I have owned this truck for about five years. In that time I have replaced the clutch, tarter, uel pump, istributor cap and rotor, park plugs and wires, ires, nd fluids regularly. That's it. The motor runs strong and pulls hard. I've used it as a car hauler and general work truck. It has a workinghydraulictrailerbrakecontroller and 7 pin connector. The transmission shifts into all four gears easily. The suspension is tight so it rides very smooth. It has no steering wheel play and does not wonder on the highway. It feels very solid. The power disk brakes work very well. When I changed the rear diff fluid last year the gears looked perfect. Since it's geared so low the truck tops out at about 65 mph, ut that can easily be changed to go faster if you don't plan on towing with it. The transmissionalso has a power take off (PTO). I've never tried to use it, ut you can see the access plate for it. This is all factory equipment. From what I know the truck is completelyunmodified. I am the third owner. The second owner had the truck since the late 70's and used it to tow a camper and boat. I was told it has been in New Mexico since new. It has a clear title. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. In fact if you pay up front for the truck and the trip, nd you don't live too far away, 'll drive it out to you.
