Description for Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1971
YOU'RE RIGHTGM never made a convertible Monte Carlo (actually they did, ut they scrapped it...decided it wouldn't sell) but this is the next best thing to it but the last time I ran this add, eople wanted to buy it if it was a convertible but remember gentlemen and ladies, t is made to look like a convertible with bows etc. So you are looking at a 1971 Monte and please scrutinize every picture...This ebony beauty is cruising down the road with a 350cu. in. geared by a T-5 five speed overdrive tranny with only eleven thousand miles on both gear box and engine. Suspension is mostly new fromstem to sternwhich can be seen in the pictures. Wheels are 15inch on chrome wire basket centers. The console is hand made out of mahogany and the dash expresses itself via the pictures once again. Speaking of pictures, note the "mirror effect" in some "piks" showing the background of trees, rass etc. No "ten footer here"...the black paint isnear perfect. I consider this automobile to be refined and sculpturedin timeless good taste and if you're looking for something different, ake the time out of your busy day to view all the photos..it is well worth it..and by the way, installed a polished stainless "mirror" on the underside of the hood with the Monte Carlo emblem embossed on it which only adds to the magnificient lines of this first generation Monte Carlo!
