If you ask most Corvette aficionados what one of the biggest steps forward for the C1 aka Solid axle was. I bet a lot would say one's ability to fit in said C1! During its 9 years in production, he C1 when through no less than 4 distinct body changes! The first three years, he car was a true Roadster without any roll-up windows, nly side curtains. In '56, he car underwent an extensive exterior redesign and was finally given those side windows! But, he car for the most part retained its somewhat cramped interior. The '58 was a complete redesign inside and out! The car grew longer and wider and also sprouted two more headlights. The '58 incorporated some unique design elements, s well. Such as a louvered hood and chrome trunk spears. These items were only used that year and helped to make the '58 one of the most unique Corvettes ever! The car was also much roomier inside which was the single biggest improvement!

This very sharp example has been completely and correctly frame off restored and features a matching #'s fuel injected engine and 4-spd transmission. It's a great driver that starts up easily and has excellent power. Silver Blue with matching interior really complements the car beautifully and it's an N.C.R.S. Top Flight Award winner to boot!
