1974 Corvette Stingray Convertible L82

Here is a sharp roadster. The Kelsey Hays wire wheels really set it off. The original matching numbers 250 horsepower 350 engine has been gone through and rebuilt front front to back 15 years ago and has been driven about 14,000 miles since 2000. Mostly stock but added a rv cam and bored out to a 383. Puts out about 325 horses. Car was set up to do road ralleys and drive long distances on the highway. Runs Ice cold and goes down the road smooth as glass with a nice rumble through the the correct dual exhaust system. Power windows tilt and original AM/FM radio. Interior was originally black but it is too hot in Arizona for convertibles so it was changed to perforated white leather with red trim and done very nice. I bought it from the second owner who did all the work and had it for about 18 years and is now 80 years old. The car is Number #1001 and believed to be the first convertible built fot the 1974 model year. Built August 17th 1973. They made 1000 regular models and 250 Roadsters that month. The A/C works but blows luke warm through the heater ducts and the headlights work but are lazy and need help to lift the doors up so there is a vacuum leak somewhere. The undercarriage looks very nice. The paint is 15 years old and is bright and shiney and has a couple of imperfections here and there. The front right rubber bumper is a little wavey. It hard to see but will show up in the right light. Also a weird imperfection spot on the top left fender. Can not get it to photograph but you can see it also in the right light. Actual mile Arizona title. I am a Realtor in North Scottsdale and was going to keep it in my collection but my plans have changed so bid to own.
