Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to showcase this beautifully restored 1953 Chevrolet 3100 Series Pickup Truck. This truck showcases a complete cosmetic and mechanical restoration. The paint and body are in excellent condition throughout as is the wood bed, nterior, nd engine compartment. The finish is a custom two-tone base/clearcoat over the all-steel body, oors, enders, nd running boards. Power is courtesy of the correct stovebolt-six paired with the 3-speed manual column-shift transmission. The wheels are factory steel wheels, olor-keyed to match and wrapped in updated B.F. Goodrich Silvertown Whitewall Poly-Bias tires all around.

Open the doors to 1953. This interior is very nicely done and has been kept low-key and overall correct. The bench seat upholstery has been redone in a tasteful burgundy vinyl while the dash was disassembled during the restoration and refinished. The factory gauges are retained along with the rare working factory radio. This is a Chevrolet push button AM radio, omplete with the bakelite plastic controls, beautiful piece in itself.

The factory steering wheel is retained along with a knob assist, et you haven't seen one of those in awhile. The 3-speed shifter goes through the gears with ease.

The factory AM push button radio is functional.

The weatherstrip was replaced throughout the cab during the restoration. The door panels, eadliner, nd rubber floor mat has been replaced.

The original dash bright work remains and is in very good condition.

The grille and bumpers have been painted to match, ront and rear.

The hood fits straight and opens and closes correctly.

The sheet metal throughout the firewall, nner fenders, nd core support shows well.

The inline-6 "Stovebolt" engine has been previously rebuilt and runs smooth, aired with the 3-speed column-shift manual transmission. The engine compartment itself is beautifully detailed throughout. The wiring has been replaced throughout this truck. It was completely taken apart during the restoration efforts.

The bed was restored with new wood installed and painted strips to match.

The fenders and running boards are steel. The wheels have been restored to match and fitted with new beauty rings, hevrolet caps, nd B.F. Goodrich Silvertown Whitewall Tires all around.

This 3-window Chevrolet truck is a pleasure to drive. it goes down the road straight, as good low end torque and shifts through the gears as is should. The brakes stop straight and the horn works. The vacuum-operated windshield wipers are also functional.

The undercarriage is in excellent condition as well. The bed underside is clean and detailed. The suspension has been rebuilt. The flooring and cab underside is solid.

The lower door edges are in good condition left and right.

You can see the reflection/shine in this finish. The paint looks great throughout. Any imperfections are minimal.
