1955 Chevy 210 4dr. Sedan, Very Straight and Solid Restoration Project

Up for auction is a 1955 Chevy 4dr.sedan. This car is 99% complete, nly missing seats, nd a couple of odds and ends. This was a running daily driver up until 2005, hen the owner took it apart to restore it. The car was taken apart, tripped down to bare metal, ought some parts, nd left in the garage. It never went any further than that.I bought this car with the intention of building a black and white 50's style squad car. I have several restored 2dr. sedans, ut when I saw the condition of this car I could not pass it up. But the reality of the story is, year later, haven't done anything to it, nd probably won't get to it anytime soon.This car is as straight and solid as they come. Being down to metal you can see the trouble spots. The only rust through, s in some of the floor pans, nd the tail pan of the trunk. All the pans needed are included in the sale, s well as the new tail pan, race, nd last 10 inches of the trunk. The rest of the trunk, runk lid, hock mounts, oors, enders, uarters, nd rockers are solid. All floor braces are solid!! Glass is all good. One rocker has some small holes, s seen in the picture, ut can be patched up very easily. None of the rockers need replacement. look at the pics, hey speak for themselves. If you are handy with a welder, ou can button this car up in a weekend. This car also has a California, ne piece frame, n excellent condition.All in all, f your looking for a 55 to restore, r a donor car for another project, t won't get any easier or better than this one. I have worked on these cars for 30+ years, nd know them inside and out. I have gotten a half a dozen or so questions that about the car, hat apparently I did not address in the listing. Here we go: Yes the tires and rims are included. Smoothie rims are in very nice shape, bit of rust on the lips, ut overall real nice, ires are like new. The car is a stick on the column,someone cut out the floor hump????, or what ever reason, am including a good used one. The last 10 inches of the trunk have already been removed, ice and clean, nd ready to install the new one. Spare tire well and shock mounts are perfect. Original door panels, rab handles, nd headliner are included, ood for trim parts, hey really are not usable. Headliner has the bows. Just about every nut and bolt is included, n either labeled containers, r the big tub of parts. Radiator, umpers, rackets, umper jack, re included. Radiator support is uncut. Nose is bolted to car for transport. The car is missing one lower front fender extension.Interior and exterior trim are included, ront and rear windshield seals are long gone.That should cover it, ut I'm sure there will be more questions.
