Description for Chevrolet Blazer 1972
1972 Chevy Blazer CST Model This auction is for a 72 blazer CST that is in very fair condition for its age. I've owned the truck for several years now in hopes to doing a complete restore on it . I've looked at many blazers of this year before purchasing this one,as many that I looked at were already cut on and hacked up or modified crazy already. These trucks are getting harder to find in this condition which I would consider original. Seeing it and starting a restore at this level gives you a piece of mind as far as knowing what you got . Most these trucks that has been restored with new paint you'd have to ask yourself " what do I really have" Do you really have a true CST model ? Or some after market Chinese CST badges you can just buy from LMC truck. Do you really have original panels or after market China ones? These are the questions you have to ask yourself. From the photos that I have provided it should say it all very clear ....Original If you are planing a restore and just selling for profit be sure to take photos before starting as some people want to see before and after pictures. Surly I can't be the only one wanting to see these pictures ... This was a hard truck to find. They were either to far rusted up or to done up to tell what ya got . You may be suprised when you ask someone to provide some before shots of the truck and they don't seem to have any. That's because they have used many after market parts to make it look right. Some don't care after market or not as long as it's looks nice. But Some do care and .... Enough said on that Anyways it's been my daily summer driver that I really enjoyed driving over the years. It gets so much attention as is. People really enjoy seeing it . I've even considered doing a Patina paint job on it cause its nice and straight and would help keep it protected and looking original.I've looked at many patina paint jobs on google images and just fell in love with that look. I've taken out the carpet do to moisture problems over its 43year life... Most trucks are rusted out do to this fact. Remember they are convertibles. I had planed on Rhino lining the floor and reinstalling the carpet. It's really the rite way to go to prevent your floors from rusting out. I'm sure if it was available in 1972 it would of had it being a 4x4 in all... Also wanted to add that it has a new fuel tank & sending uni, radiator & new brake booster. Motor has lots of updates as you can see from the pics . Runs very well !I do my best to accurately describe the vehicle to the best of my abilities. Thanks and good luck! ( The last photo of the red blazer is just one I saw online that was done nicly to give you an idea of how nice they can look :) finished
