This is an awesome pretty C20 Chevy truck in incredibly good condition for its age. We are the 3rd owner and bought it in 1986 with 21K miles. We were told the first owner used it to haul a really large camper back and forth to Florida a couple times a year and the second was their neighbor who just bought it to drive around but traded it in for a car because they decided they didn't want a truck. We bought it adding a nice side step to get in and out to take our camper to Florida and camping. After 5 years, ere no longer able to camp because of our Mom's health and have used it regularly since for pleasure & maintenance and it has 61,000 actual original miles. We have 3 vehicles and only 2 drivers which is why we are sadly selling our truck. We are non-smokers and it has a clear tittle and ready for a new home.
This truck has a standard 8 foot bed and was only offered new by Chevy for 2 months in 1982 with its unusual features. It is a heavy duty 3/4 ton truck C-20 with MAX Load GVWR 8600 LBS but with an improved ride ratting of GVWR 7200, f only loaded with 3 passengers and 200 LBS in bed. This made it comfortable for driving around empty as well but able to take loads. It also had the smallest V8 305 cu inches Chevy offered that year but had plenty of power to haul especially with the Holley 4 barrel carburetor and an auto overdrive 4 speed transmission and 3.42 rear axle ratio and a very effective "Electronic Spark Control" to control engine ping for best gas mileage and performance. It also is just real cute with the two tone White and Tan exterior color with the original Ziebart that has served it well as you can see in pictures.
This is a great truck & has given us almost no troubles except the sliding rear window sticks since I never use it. The tires have great tread. We have changed oil and maintained it properly. It is in great condition but it is a 1982 and we have tried to describe it as accurately as we possibly can but can provide No Guarantee of any kind and it is being sold strictly AS-IS.
