Trucks are becoming more popular every day, ere is a great example of a rust free street rod pickup. This shortbed was owned and built by a local painter... needless to say he started with a really rust free truck to end up with a slick one like this. This truck has its original inner rockers, loors and cab mounts without a patch! The black base/clear finish is super nice with no damage or rust. The truck was fitted with a steel cowl induction hood, iberglass bed cover, ain gutters shaved and one piece door glasses were installed. The fuel tank was moved under the bed floor and the filler hole was also removed. The truck has a very clean look with these mods along with the New 20 inch American Racing Torque Thrust custom wheels and its stance. Under the hood the truck is detailed to the max in basecoat/clearcoat. A reman 350 V8 powerplant backed by A TH350 automatic transmission and a stock rear axle was used in the build. The engine runs out great and is dressed very nice with a polished aluminum intake, olley Carb, lectronic ignition, ooker headers and Flowmaster exhaust. The truck has power rack and pinion steering, ower disc brakes and a newly installed vintage A/C. On the inside our shortbed is very nice... a dark charcoal bench seat was covered in leather, ew carpeting was added along with the new kick panels that contain speakers. The dash is really nice also with everything working including fuel gauge. A GM three bar steering wheel tops the interior off!
