1959 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE PRO STREET

Most likely this will be my last try to sell this wonderful Corvette on eBay at least for a while. A unnamed Corvette dealer has offered to sell it for at least $55k before they take their cut. I have the reserve price much lower then that for this last run on eBay. I will not respond to requests asking what the reserve price is and I will not end this auction early. You are welcome to come out and look her over and I will consider any offers made if the reserve is not meet after the auction has ended. If two offers of the same amount are made and I am willing to accept it, will contact the buyer that made the offer first.
Up for sale is a 1959 Corvette Convertible Hardtop with 355 4sp. This Corvette is not for the purest even though the body has NOT been cut and is as it left the factory, hat is where it ends for being an original 59' Corvette.
The engine is 355 with dual 4 barrel carburetors and a full out blower. The engine has never been dyno so the horsepower output is unknown. The motor has less then 100 hours on it. The rear has been tubbed to allow the wide tires but again none of the body lines have been altered. This Corvette does not have power brakes or steering.
The title remains in the previous owners name and is from Kentucky. The VIN on the title is mislabeled with a "5" instead of a "S" for the VIN, he title shows "J595105123" and the VIN plate shows "J59S105123" this should not be a big issue but you may want to check with your state requirements to correct the title. Also please review the video and pictures as there is a little paint damaged to the trunk area and right taillight area from brake fluid that was leaked from our 66' Corvette that was on the lift over the Bulldog. None of the stock gauges are hooked up and turn signals, ipers and heater fan are not working or not installed. The brakelights, aillights and headlights do work and the tach, il, ater, olts, oost and fuel are working with aftermarket gauges. The underside is rust free and we have a lift so you can inspect the underside at our home. New battery was installed less then 6 months ago and always on a battery tender.
A little about us: We have been on eBay for over 15 years and we sell new items for the C4, 5, 6 and C7 Corvette's. This Corvette along with "Kicks" a 66' Corvette (also up for sale) have been with me for many years. We are not a Corvette dealer for complete cars and these are my personal Corvette's. We are moving to a new home with only 3 garage bays so I have let go of Kicks or the Bulldog to have room. The wife hopes it is the Bulldog I hope it is Kicks that sells.
