1971 Chevrolet Corvette LS5 T-top Fully Restored w/Matching Numbers 454 & TH400!

This 1971 Chevy Corvette was originally assembled on September 3rd of 1971. The car features the matching numbers 454/365HP LS5 engine, atching numbers TH400 transmission, nd 3.08 Posi rear end. The car was then completely restored in 2010 and is a wonderful driving, xcellent looking car.  

The body of the car was stripped down to bare glass and has a modern two stage paint job with proper color sanding and a really nice finish. The car was originally yellow and has been refinished in Red. The panels line up very well including the doors, ood, nd headlight covers. The T-tops are tight fitting and leak free. The glass in very good condition, he stainless trim has been polished and restored, nd all of the chrome is new. 

The matching numbers engine has the correct 3963512 casting number and was cast on May 18th. Final assembly occurred on the August 28, nd the CPJ block code indicates its pairing with the TH400 transmission. The matching numbers transmission is an S code which indicates that is was used with the 454 engine. These rear ends had no VIN stamping but is dated as a July built unit from 71 with the correct AW 3.08 stamping.
